We focus on four main rivers in WNC for your guided fishing trip: the French Broad River, the Pigeon River, the Tuckaseegee River, and the Little Tennessee River.
This river has a little bit of everything including trophy Smallmouth, the elusive Musky, Rock Bass, gorgeous Bluegill, and an occasional Trout.
Distance from Downtown Asheville: 15 min
The upper sections of this watershed contain all species of Trout, the lower sections have more Smallmouth, Largemouth, and Rock Bass. Trips on this river are scenic. This includes the remote Waterville Lake that has Bass and Crappie.
Distance from Downtown Asheville: 20-30min
Primarily a Trout fishery, but sections in the warmer months have some incredible Smallmouth Bass fishing with a lot less pressure than other waters.
Distance from Downtown Asheville: 45-60min
One of the hidden gems of WNC with a great Smallmouth Bass fishery as the target species. But… you never can tell what you might catch, including Walleye, Musky, Trout, Rock Bass, or Spotted Bass. A remote and scenic trip needing an entire day to really explore and experience.
